The K3C Smart WLAN Router impresses with its simple elegance and its powerful performance. Thanks to the usage of Intel AnyWAN SoC Network Processor and the Intel Home Wi-Fi Chipset, the K3C provides fast and stable data communication for the connection of up to 128 devices. This makes the K3C the heart of the smart home. The dual-band function is simultaneous – the frequencies 2.4 GHz + 5 GHz can be used at the same time with a rapid transmission speed of up to 1900 Mbps. In its role as a pioneer, the K3C, as one of the first routers, was equipped with the Intel®Home Wi-Fi chipset, as well as with a USB 3.0 port. By upgrading to MU-MIMO, the K3C is able to communicate with different devices at the same time – in contrast to the single MIMO, which handles the communication with the devices in a kind of queue.
With its internal antennas, the compact, matt-silver body and its high-edge positioning, it fits comfortably into its surroundings. Through the design team of Jacob Jensen from Denmark, the K3C was transformed from a commodity to a high-quality design object. The device was awarded the internationally renowned IF Design Award.
